Cesc Fabregas has commended Declan Rice for his significant influence on the leaders of the Premier League Arsenal. Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Fabregas expressed his admiration for the team’s development. “Gradually, you can observe the team’s growth,” he noted, affirming the visible progress as undeniable.
He was particularly impressed by the team’s strategy in their recent match against Manchester City, which surpassed his expectations. “Their approach was unexpectedly different. It’s apparent they’re refining how they handle different game situations,” Fabregas explained.
The experience gained by the coaching staff and the players enables them to explore alternative strategies effectively, which Fabregas finds encouraging. “It’s wonderful to witness. I genuinely believe they are on the verge of achieving something significant soon,” he said, confident of the team’s trajectory.
“They are definitely on the right path; they are truly becoming Arsenal. When you talk to coaches, top teams, and fans across Europe, everyone agrees that Arsenal is among the top teams to watch and compete against,” he added.
Regarding Rice, Fabregas remarked, “He has long proven himself. Over the past two or three years, it was clear he was poised for a major club. His skill and character make him a standout. I immediately recognized it as a brilliant acquisition, exactly what Arsenal needed.”
