More kudos and knocks have begun to trail the release of the new movie, ‘Ijakumo’ by Toyin Abraham.
These are coming following the request by Toyin on her Twitter handle seeking to book an appointment with Daniel Regha over his opinion about the movie.
Toyin on her Twitter page had said, “My darling @DanielRegha hope to see you today face to face at trendupp awards so you can kindly tell me where you need me to improve on film making. I saw your tweet on ‘Ijakumo’ and I will be happy to see you so you can tell me where and where to work on. Hope to see other lovely influencers.”

However, some of those who have watched the movie say ‘Ijakumo’ is a good work while others say it needs to be improved upon.
For Rhema @Rhemasolution, it will be a right step in the right direction if Toyin can work on her storyline, saying, “Ijakumo storyline wasn’t that interesting…I didn’t enjoy the movie at all.”
But Olu of Epe Alaro in Lagos expressed, “I love everything and every scene in ‘Ijakumo.’ I give you 9/10…”
To Olami @abdulrasakolami, “Ijakumo wasn’t really a trash, it was a masterpiece that could have made bigger and positive headlines if it was executed properly…”
Meanwhile, Memoir of A Nigeria @Real is of the opinion that Toyin is moving the cart before the horse, asking her to “Hire a good script writer and experienced crew members. You will get a very good product.”
Ogbeni Gbolagan said, “You really need to work on your storylines. The twin of a twin makes no sense, it is easier and makes more sense if she’s the same person with multiple personalities…No hate but you can do better.”
As Bubu @BKolawo says, “I watched ‘Ijakumo’, truly the storyline is good but some scenes are irrelevant. It is not a must a movie must contain fight scene.”
“Anyone that says ‘Ijakumo’ is a good movie, …definitely doesn’t what good for you,” says Purple W @cheeomaa, while Ewatomilola (Ekiti Princess) thinks differently saying “Ijakumo is a spiritual eye opener, especially in Africa. The length some pastors go to get power and how their church income are spent, now they are using the people and enriching their cabals. It is one of my best this year. Kudos @toyin abraham.
