President of the NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, conveyed his sentiments on Saturday, stating, “This is a deeply unfortunate development, and while we may not comprehend the ways of God, we acknowledge His wisdom.
We extend our gratitude to Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Edo State Government for their swift response and support in the aftermath of this tragic incident. Our hearts go out to Dosunmu’s family, the Board and Management of Sunshine Stars FC, and the entire football community in Nigeria. May God grant Dosunmu eternal rest and provide strength to those affected by his loss.”
