The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is set to host the National Draw for the 2024 Federation Cup competitions on Thursday. The event, scheduled for April 18th, 2024, will take place at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja.
In the men’s category, the field has been narrowed down to 64 teams following a series of playoff matches last week.
Teams such as Classic FC of Adamawa, Simon Ben Academy of Kaduna, PRO Line of Kano, Crusaders FC of Bayelsa, KC FC of Kogi, and Flight FC of Benue State were eliminated.
The remaining teams, including Warinje FC of Bauchi, PCM FC of Ebonyi, Ine Stars of Edo, Zamfara United Feeders, Fr. Eburuaja of Imo, and Gamji Eaglets of Taraba, have secured their spots in the upcoming draw ceremony.
The men’s competition will kick off with a Round of 64 matches, followed by the Round of 32, Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and ultimately the Grand Finale.
On the other hand, the women’s competition, featuring 31 entries, will commence with a round of 32 games, followed by the Round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the Grand Finale.
