Chelsea Football Club has chosen to exercise contract options for Enzo Fernandez and Mykhaylo Mudryk. According to Football Association documents, Fernandez now has eight years remaining on his £180,000-a-week contract, which extends until 2032. Similarly, Mudryk’s contract, which was set to expire in 2031, has been extended by Chelsea.
When their contracts eventually conclude, Fernandez will be 31 years old, while Mudryk will be 30.
The FA recently disclosed this information in their annual agent payments report. Despite this revelation, the reasons behind Chelsea’s decision to trigger the extension options for both players remain undisclosed.
