England manager, Gareth Southgate, acknowledges that the upcoming Euros could be his final tournament at the helm as The Three Lions coach.
Southgate, who has led England since 2016, previously served as a youth coach within the FA.
In a recent statement, the ex-Middlesbrough boss suggested he might lose his position if England fails to secure a victory in this summer’s tournament.
“If we don’t win, I probably won’t be here anymore. This could be the last opportunity,” he said.
“To be considered a top team and for me to be recognized as a top coach, you have to succeed in pivotal moments.”
Southgate’s contract with the FA runs until the end of 2024.
