Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti (ABUAD) has been ranked as the Best University in Nigeria for the third consecutive year by Times Higher Education Impact World Universities.
The university’s Founder and Chancellor, Chief Afe Babalola, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Ado Ekiti.
ABUAD emerged as the top among all 264 universities in Nigeria, and was also ranked 4th in Africa and 142nd among all 2,152 ranked universities in the world.
In addition, the institution became the best University in the Social Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and emerged as the best in Outreach Programmes and Stewardship with a score of 98.2 per cent in the impact ranking.
Chief Afe Babalola commended the quality curriculum, stable and predictable academic calendar, and commitment to academic excellence.
He encouraged the members of staff to see the ranking as a challenge to do more and become the best in all areas.
