The selected team comprises three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders, and five forwards.
Among the notable players are goalkeeper Faith Omilana and Taiwo Afolabi, who showcased their skills in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in India last year, securing a historic bronze medal for Nigeria. Additionally, Comfort Folorunsho and Opeyemi Ajakaye, instrumental in the Super Falcons’ recent victory over Ethiopia in the 2024 Women Olympic Football Tournament qualifying fixture, have also made the cut.
