The popular Nollywood actor, James Okechukwu Esomugha aka Jim Iyke, may have found himself in another marriage scandal as an American lady, Callie Molleek Taggett, who claimed to have tied a nuptial not with him, threatened divorce.
Taggett on her Instagram page threatened further to release her marriage records with Iyke to the public, claiming the records were still in Dekalb County Courthouse in Decatur, Georgia, US.

Taggett wanted Iyke to show commitment to their divorce of which she vowed she would not relent.
She said she was still committed to seeking the actor’s audience to fulfil his divorce rites amicably by the US law.
Taggett claimed to have walked down the Isle with the actor in 2017 after meeting in Norcross, Georgia in the US in 2016.
She informed that the marriage legally took effect on January 30, 2017, at Dekalb County after a marriage certificate was issued as validation by the appropriate authority.
The 29-year-old medical student born in Alabama accused Iyke of non-commitment, determined to end a relationship rocked by acute neglect.
Taggett, an entrepreneur, disclosed that they had planned to start a family but Iyke was never around.
She narrated, “In February 2018 he went to Paris, France to welcome a son with an unidentified African woman living in France. I didn’t find out until March 2019 via social media.
“It left me devastated, but he reassured me he wanted to continue our marriage and was forgiven.
“In August 2021 I found out another son was born outside of marriage by an unidentified African woman in Africa. I was wounded by the news and asked for a divorce. Jim has abandoned me ever since,” she said.
She accused Iyke of going about his life, only concerned about his image, career and money, while he was not taking care of her or the single mothers.
“He threatened me and tried to frame me by saying he had a criminal investigation against me,” she expressed.
Meanwhile, Taggett vowed to proceed with court action and also find her runaway husband even if it would take her to come to Nigeria to meet him on how they could part ways amicably.
