Professor Yahaya stated during the visit that following the recognition of NSUED by the National Universities Commission (NUC) as a duly established University coupled with the matching order by Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State to midwife the smooth take-off of the new University, it should liaise with a critical stakeholder such JAMB for speedy commencement of academic activities.
Professor Yahaya urged JAMB to list the University in its brochure for the 2024/2025 Academic Session and put it on the JAMB mailing platform.
He also pleaded with JAMB to include the institution in the Central Admission Process System (CAPS) and other instruments and channels that could enhance Communication.
It also sought to get intimated of policy directives, adversaries and regulations that could enhance the ease of conducting admissions into the institution.
It will be recalled that NSUED had been enlisted as the 270th university in Nigeria with effect from September 20, 2023.
