Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, the former Coordinator of Excel Minds, has been recognized as the Overall Best Graduating Student for the 2022/2023 academic year at Lagos State University, Ojo. The announcement was made on May 30, 2024, by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, during a press conference held at the University Senate House.

Mubaraq’s tenure as Coordinator of Excel Minds, from February 2022 to September 2023, was marked by significant advancements in the group’s activities and a successful expansion into new faculties. The Excel Minds community is celebrating this remarkable achievement and eagerly anticipates Mubaraq’s future accomplishments.
OOU Set for Institutional-Based Incubation Programme

Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago Iwoye, Ogun State is now the first University in the country to have the first Institutional Based Incubation Programme (IBCP).

The Federal Government, through the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), has expressed its commitment to collaborating with higher institutions in Nigeria on IBCP initiatives. This was announced by the Director General and CEO of NBTI, Dr. Patricia Uchenna Chukwu, during a meeting with members of OOU’s management team at the NBTI headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Chukwu highlighted that the agency had allocated โฆ8.5 million in the 2023 capital budget to support infrastructure development at OOU. Additionally, an estimated โฆ15 million is projected for the 2024 capital appropriation to further enhance the IBCP project at the university.

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the pioneer Visitor and former Governor of Ondo State, has completed the first-semester exams for the Health Law and Policy Master’s Degree program at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo City.
This groundbreaking program, the first of its kind in Nigeria, is offered by the Institute of Advanced Clinical Sciences Education, led by Prof. Leroy Edozien, a renowned doctor, lawyer, and pan-Nigerian patriot.
