The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) University of Abuja looks so young, and many who have seen her have not hidden their happiness at her achievements. She has achieved a lot and is now in a professorial rank and a high managerial position at a Nigerian public university. She’s a fellow LSE alumna.
Prof. Maikudi schooled abroad and started lecturing at a young age. She also became a Professor at 39 which made her the youngest Law Professor in the North West and the first female to attain that rank at such a small age.

LASU to Begin Afrobrazilian Studies
Do you know that Lagos State University, LASU, will start admission into Portuguese Programmes in the LASU Centre for Afro-Brazilian Studies? Here is your chance to study Portuguese and learn how to speak it.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under-listed programmes in the Lagos State University Centre for Afro-Brazilian Studies (LASUCAS). This programme is to prepare Nigerian students to enjoy the scholarship tenable in Brazil. Such a candidate must pass an Examination called CELPE-Bras: Certificate of Proficiency in Portuguese Language for Foreigners.
This program is, therefore, to train candidates for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarships.
