A little entertainment can add spice to schooling. In fact, it makes education complete and allows the school to pass through you, not only you passing through the school.
This is what obtains at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, where some student entertainers remove boredom and inject life into school activities, rocking, frolicking, creating glitz and glamour and making tremendous impressions with their talents and endowments.
Here are some students who are making OAU tick in the entertainment circles:
ASOJAID
The real name is Sheun Adebanjo, but is popularly known by his stage name ‘Asojaid tha Lovermam.’
He studies English Language at OAU but has released a series of songs and made collaboration with J boy entitled ‘Dimension.’ His recent work is ‘Grind.’
COSY
A Dramatic Art student named Aponjolosun Oreoluwa Juliana. She has her first single ‘Duro’ in 2021. She has also performed in shows in different departments.
EWA
Adefioye Solomon Adelanaire is his real name but his stage name is Ewa. A Dramatic Art student, his first album is entitled ‘Life, love, self-mouth (LLSW).
He got an award as the Best Artist of the Year in FASA OAU Award.
He performed in ‘Wizkid Live in Warri’ and ‘Party nextdoor.’
DRIZZY
Known as Akinremi Emmanuel, he’s a student of Microbiology. He has a song to his name entitled ‘Virus da Viper.’
HAYWHY VIRTUOSO
He reads Soil Science Land and Management (SLM). His real name is Adebimpe Israel Ayoade. He plays the guitar and made his debut in 2021, releasing a song entitled ‘Suicide.’ He has worked with X Law on the song ‘Mechanoid.’
