Coach Xavi has agreed to sign a new contract deal with Barcelona Football Club.
The new contract will elapse in 2025 while his ongoing contract will end at the end of this season.
The new deal comes along with an option of another year 2026 if he performs well with the club.

It will be recalled that Xavi was coaching Al Sadd in Qatar before returning to Barca his former club as a player in 2021.
The new contract signing ceremony will take place next week in Barcelona.
