
ARCON Conducts Accreditation Visit to Bingham University
The Advertising Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) recently conducted an accreditation visit to Bingham University. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Kuje Ayuba, welcomed the ARCON team in his office and expressed his enthusiasm for their visit, assuring them of the university’s full cooperation in facilitating the accreditation process.

Leading the panel, Prof. Samila Mande provided an overview of the accreditation exercise’s results. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit Bingham University, praising the warm reception and the smooth completion of the process.
Prof. Mande commended the university’s dedication to academic excellence, highlighting the impressive operation of a fully functional advertising studio where students receive hands-on experience, as well as a licensed radio station.
Trinity University Hosts Inaugural Convocation Lecture
Trinity University in Yaba, Lagos, held its first convocation lecture on Thursday as part of the celebrations for its 1st and 2nd Convocation ceremonies.

The lecture, “Disruptive Technology: The Ambiguous Friend?”, was delivered by Prof. Adenike Osofisan, the first African Professor of Computer Science.
In his welcome address, Mr. David Olubukola Oyejide, the Registrar of Trinity University, highlighted that the convocation ceremony is a celebration of the achievements of the graduating students from the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.
Greenfield University Founder Visits Kaduna Governor to Boost Private Education.
In a significant effort to address Nigeria’s educational challenges, Engr. Simon Nwakacha, the Pro-Chancellor and Founder of Greenfield University, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State. The meeting, held at the Government House in Kaduna, centered on the current state of education in Nigeria and discussed how the government can support private universities.
