Afrobeats sensation, Ayra Starr is optimistic about her future, stating that she believes her music will only continue to get better with time.
The Grammy nominee recently appeared on Visa’s “Music Talks,” where she shared her thoughts on her career trajectory.
According to Starr, she is constantly evolving and doesn’t believe in a “final form,” instead, she is always striving for improvement.
Starr also boasted about the global appeal of her music, saying that her voice is her unique sound and that she is proud to be an ambassador of Afrobeats worldwide.
Starr’s rise to fame began when she met Don Jazzy, who signed her to Marvin Records after she recorded five songs in a single day.
Three of those songs ended up on her debut EP. Starr expressed pride in her first single, which brought her widespread attention in Africa.
She also emphasized the importance of allowing artists the time and space to grow and develop their talents.
