The entire Orimolade Ifako community members will forever be grateful to the Afrobeats sensation, Sarah Oyinkansola Aderibigbe aka Ayra Starr for quenching their thirst by sinking a borehole in their domain. The largesse came after Hope Spring Water, and Mavin Record had collaborated with Ayra Starr to supply water to the community that has been without water for 20 years.
Ayra Starr disclosed through her official X handle with excitement, saying in pidgin, “… e dey rush campaign last year to provide clean and safe water to communities. I’m so happy to see the Orimolade Ifako Community getting their borehole installed.”
She wrote, “I’m grateful for the partnership of@hopespringwater & Mavin records to make this happen. Everyone deserves good water.”
The entire residents of the community were filled with joy when their borehole was finally completed.
It would be recalled that Ayra Starr was nominated for the Grammy Awards in 2024 but was unable to come home with the prize in the category she was nominated for.
The diva had her fortune changed for the better from petty trading, after being spotted by Don Jazi, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Records, who recognized her enormous talent.
Since being spotted and signed to Mavin Records, she has blossomed in the Afrobeats genre of Nigerian music, and her songs have continuously made waves in Nigeria, Africa, and the world in general.
