The efforts of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) at creating an enabling environment and contributing to human knowledge at the University of Ibadan have been of tremendous impact.
CBN, in its Largesse, has constructed two gigantic buildings on the University campus, the first being the CBN Lecture Theatre (first frame).
The building, an architectural masterpiece, seats 1200 students at a time. Opened in October 2023, it accommodates most of the 100 levels’ Faculty of Science and Technology lectures.
CBN also constructed the Central Bank of Nigeria Centre for Economics and Finance (second frame) on the campus.
This building is meant for postgraduate students, striving to obtain Master of Science degrees in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics and MBA.
The CBN has also impacted many universities in the country as part of its social responsibility.
