Fear Among Students of Plateau University
There is palpable fear among students of Plateau University, Bokkos, despite being at home after the University authority suspended the ongoing examination and closed the school following the killing of a 200-level student by gunmen.
The fear now is whether the gunmen will storm the school again when students resume to complete their examination.
Gunmen last week Thursday night attacked Chikam, a neighbouring community to the university, killing a student identified as Dading Jordan.

UI Students Say No to Hike in Tuition Fees
The students of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State capital have disagreed with the authority of Nigeria’s premier University over a hike in Tuition fees.
Information reaching BlackCampus Magazine has it that the students are hell-bent that the University authority should revert to the status quo.
From all indications, tension is brewing within and outside the University community. They want education to be accessible, not only for the privileged few but also for the less privileged.
