Monthly Seminar for Unilag Students
The Student Affairs Division, University of Lagos, will hold another edition of its monthly seminar series on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
The seminar, with the topic, Some Challenges of Undergraduate Students in the Halls of Residence at the University of Lagos will start at 10:00 am at Mariere Hall Common Room.

Unilorin, Unilag Remain Nigeria’s Most Sought After by UTME Candidates in 4Yrs
In the past four years, the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have consistently been the most sought-after higher institutions by candidates taking the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in Nigeria.
UNILORIN has emerged as the most preferred first-choice institution for UTME candidates from 2020 to 2023. The university received the highest number of UTME applications, with 78,466 applications in 2021 and 73,749 in 2023, leading the pack in both years.
Following closely behind, the University of Lagos maintained its position as the second most applied-for institution, with 59,190 applications in 2021.
