The Super Eagles attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi, has named Wizkid his favourite music artist. Speaking on the recent programme ‘Would you Rather Be’ The footballer said Wizkid had ever been his favourite artist whom he inclined to than Burnaboy.
Wizkid, who prefers to be known as BigWiz, is a leading Nigerian singer, and the first Afrobeats star to receive a Grammy when he collaborated with American Pop singer, Beyonce in their song entitled Brown Skin Girl.
He was shunned in the 2024 Grammy, unable to win in any category of the awards.

Meanwhile, Iwobi, who also disclosed that he preferred Nigerian music to English, appeared not to have an impressive run during the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) where the Super Eagles lost to Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire at the finals of the competition.
Iwobi came under heavy criticism from Nigerian fans who thought that Coach Jose Peseiro should have sidelined him and used another player who was fitter instead.
