The famous Nigerian thespian, Iyabo Ojo, has called on the Nigerian government to save the citizens from the grip of economic hardship currently ravaging the country.
The Nollywood actress made this call in a post on her Instagram page, pleading with the government to address the current rise in the cost of living as Nigerians suffer daily.

She disclosed that due to depressing complaints from her fans, she was always scared to open messages from them.
However, the controversial actress advised the present government to get to work and do the right thing to better the lot of Nigerians.
She wrote, “I pray this present government will get up from the comfort of their riches and high horses, roll their sleeves, and do the right thing on time.”
She added, “Hope is no longer hoping, tolerance is no longer tolerating, and patience is no longer patient, there is serious hunger & anger in the land…”
Iyabo Ojo is one of Nigeria’s celebrities who speaks out regarding socio-political and economic issues as they affect citizens.
Also in various situations, she had shown serious aversion to cheating, bullying, and abuse of human rights in the country.
