The Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, having received a huge Valentine’s gift from her husband, has gone to social media to shower praises on him. In a message on her X handle, she wrote, “Happy Valentine baby @pauloo2104, I miss you so much and I love you with all of meโฆthank you for the alert, for loving all of me and none of my enemies.”
The actress has shielded her love life from the public glare, preferring to make it secret since she parted ways with her former husband.
But the controversial thespian has constantly remained on the lips of Nigerians considering her claim to being a social crusader.
In 2023, Iyabo Ojo was deeply involved in leading the crusade for the fight for justice for the late Afrobeats singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, who died in a controversial circumstance.
On Mohbad issue, she was engaged in a face-off with the famous investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, over attempting to unravel the actual death that claimed the life of the singer.
She was also very active in the case of child defilement leveled against actor Olanrewaju James aka Baba Ijesha who was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment on July 14, 2022.
She has been a successful actress, producer, and scriptwriter, having an array of movies to her credit, and carving a nick in the temple of fame, regarding Nollywood.
However, Iyabo Ojo was, in 2023, accused of defaulting in the payment of tax liability amounting to N18,640,092.00 personal income tax by the Lagos State Internal Revenue Services (LIRS), of which she declined to pay the sum.
The actress was also locked in a legal row with a UK producer, Tosin Abiola aka Omo Brish, who accused Iyabo Ojo and Ibaka Entertainment Limited of claiming the sole ownership of her movie, ‘Under the Carpet.’
