Actor Praises Ruth Kadiri for Saving His Career

The Nollywood actor, Chidi Dike, has praised the popular Nigerian thespian, Ruth Kadiri, for bringing his career out of obscurity and making him a shining light in the movie industry.

Dike wrote on his social media platform that Kadiri illuminated his dark web environment with endless light full of opportunities and possibilities.

The actor referred to Kadiri in his words as, “My Queen, My Mentor, My Mother…I don’t need a special day to appreciate you, mama.”

Dike expressed further that the actress stepped into his life and “flipped my whole world…words fail me every time but you know I love you, mama…”

Some time ago in a media chat, the fast-rising actor stated that joining the Nigerian movie industry was challenging in the beginning when he struggled to get roles from movie producers.

Describing further during the chat how nerve-racking it was for him when he started, the actor expressed that he knew he was talented, but only that he did not have an opportunity to display his talent until he met Kadiri.

A brand influencer and model, Dike’s performances in Nollywood have been impressive so much so that his ability to interpret his roles effectively has fetched him accolades.

In 2022, he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
