The Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe aka Kiss Daniel, has refuted the allegation of his arrest in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire over his failure to perform at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) show slated for Cote D’Ivoire.
The Afrobeat star wrote on his Instagram page that he was fine and heading to London for his Nov. 12 show, at Ovo Arena Wembley.
Of the show, Daniel wrote that CAF, which didn’t deal with him directly, had connected him through an agent who signed his contract that stated “no money no performance.”

He explained that he agreed to honour the invitation after many excuses surrounding bank transfer failure and delay “with the promise of receiving the money upon arrival in Abidjan.”
Daniel explained that he still chose to support CAF and went ahead to perform for three minutes after which his team was assaulted back stage.
Meanwhile, information had been rife that Daniel was arrested and detained in Abidjan over his failure to perform on Oct 12, 2023 after being paid the sum of $150,000.
In the past Daniel was arrested in Tanzania in 2022 for failure to honour a concert.
