Lagos State Governor, Sanwo-Olu, has commended Lagos State University (LASU) for upholding its founding principles and expectations.
During the 27th convocation ceremony, he praised the institution’s resilience and dedication to academic excellence, which is evident in the quality of its graduates.

He expressed pride in LASU’s outstanding achievements, including its ranking as the Best State University in the West African sub-region and Nigeria’s Most Digitally Advanced State University.

He encouraged the graduands to strive for impact, pushing the boundaries of human knowledge and achievement.
“Having conquered the peak of academic study, demonstrating unparalleled dedication and intellectual rigour, you must now strive to operate at a level of impact that reflects the outstanding knowledge you have garnered.
“You must push the boundaries of human knowledge and achievement,” Governor Sanwo-Olu urged them.
The Governor awarded the Best Graduating Student, Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, a cash prize of N10 million.
