Mr Ibu Discharged from the Hospital, Hale and Hearty

Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, aka Mr Ibu, has been discharged from the hospital and is now back home and as fit as a fiddle.

This is disclosed by a junior colleague of his in Nollywood, Ken Erics, who paid Mr Ibu a visit in his residence, sharing the video of the visit on his Instagram page.

Ken expressed on his page that the visit happened after the hospital incident and that the footage was released to brighten his followers and colleagues’ days.

Other Nollywood stars like Georgina Ibeh and Ibiwari Etuk expressed their joy in the comment session seeing the development.

Mr Ibu and Ken were seen in a happy mood in the video, with Ibu looking hale and hearty, implying that all was well.

Ibu was hospitalized for a few months on account of what he described as a strange and dangerous illness, after which he had one of his legs amputated.

In October, the 62-year-old actor appealed publicly for financial assistance from Nigerians to help him offset his medical bill at a Lagos hospital.

According to his family, Ibu underwent five operations, surviving all of them.
