If you are not pleased with your scores in the National Examination Council of Nigeria (NECO) after the results are released, you can opt for the remarking of your scripts.
To have your papers remarked you can take the following steps:
You must apply for the remarking of your scripts 16 months after the release of results.
Complaints must be on scores or grades in either the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) or Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), both internal or external.
If it is a school-based examination, the application must be written by the school authority on behalf of the candidate. The application must be duly signed and stamped by the school Principal.
If it is external-based, the application should be written by the candidate, and the applicant must pay the prescribed fee of N20,000.00 per paper into NECO TSA account for SSCE, and N15,000.00 per paper for BECE.
All applications should be addressed to the Chief Registrar/Chief Executive National Examination Council (NECO) through the State Coordinator, through the Zonal Coordinator.
