The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will take place on June 22, 2024.
According to JAMB’s Spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the exam was rescheduled to give 24,535 candidates affected by non-compliant centers a chance to prepare adequately.
The affected candidates can print their supplementary examination notification slips from June 4, 2024, to confirm their examination centres.
Additionally, 3,921 outstanding results have been released, bringing the total number of results released to 1,883,350.
Candidates can check their results by sending “RESULT” to 55019 or 66019. Those who have been cleared will receive their results, while those rescheduled will be informed that they have been rescheduled.
JAMB has also announced a special registration exercise for 3,633 candidates from the Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies and Kwara State University on the CAILS-KWASU Diploma programme who did not participate in the 2024 UTME.
These candidates can register at approved CBT centres in Kwara, Oyo, and Osun States between June 4 and June 10, 2024.
The 469 candidates who already took the 2024 UTME do not need to retake the exam. The affected candidates will sit for the UTME on June 22, 2024, alongside 20,550 candidates whose results are under investigation and 2,702 candidates whose fingerprints could not be verified.
