Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, is elated that within eight days her film ‘Malaika’ has brought in a mouth-watering sum of N104m.
The film made its debut on December 22, even though it recorded an early show on December 21.

It featured a well-known actor like Emeka Ike who had just returned to the Nigerian movie industry after a long absence, and Abike Shuga among others.
Showing her profound happiness, Abraham recognized the tremendous achievement of the film, recognizing the support she got from the audience over it.
Malaika premiered on December 17, 2023, when Nollywood’s biggest stars showed up to grace the remarkable occasion.
It was held under the theme ‘Owanbe Style’ at IMAX Filmhouse Cinemas, Lekki, where celebrities and Nollywood stars adorned different ‘Aso Ebi’ styles.
Among those who graced the occasion were Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, Bolanle Austen Peters, Joke Silva, Tola Odunsin, Kunle Remi, Ebube Nwagbo, Lasisi Elenu, Shaffy Bello and many others.
