Why Actors Beg on Sick Bed, Patience Ozokwor Reveals

The veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, has revealed why many actors beg on their sick beds.

Ozokwor disclosed this on her Instagram page as reported by Tunde Ednut on his X handle that while actors are making a good living, they spend lavishly to maintain their status as celebrities as a result of the expensive lifestyle demanded of them by members of the public.

Ozokwor added that many people don’t help actors because they believe they are wealthy and can take care of themselves.

She said, ” When they fall sick, they are left to handle the burden, and when they are at their very last, they are forced to turn to social media begging.”

Recall that veteran Nollywood actors like Mr Ibu had resorted to begging after being bedridden recently. He took to social media to appeal to good-spirited Nigerians, which had paid off eventually.
