Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been hit with four-year ban from football after testing positive for doping in September. It will be recalled that Pogba was earlier suspended after a subsequent test also returned a positive result, leading to speculation that Pogba will receive the maximum penalty for doping.
Pogba has consistently maintained that he unknowingly ingested the illegal substances. His camp is expected to appeal against the decision.
