A total of 37 students earned first class division during the 15th Convocation Ceremony held recently at Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State.
According to the management of the institution, the event featured the confernment of honorary degrees, award of higher degrees/diplomas, admission to first degree and presentation of prizes.
The Convocation Ceremony witnessed a total of 191 postgraduates, 295 direct entry (top up) students and 448 undergraduate students who graduated from the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (COLNAS), the College of Management Sciences (COLMANS) the College of Environmental Sciences ( COLENVS), and the College of Engineering ( COLENG).
The overall best graduating student, Faluyi David Ayoola, who obtained a remarkable Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96, studied Industrial Chemistry from the Department of Chemical Sciences.
However, the University listed its milestones as including being ranked in the 51-60 Belt on the Times Higher Education, some of its new programms being approved by the National University Commission (NUC), and its representation of Nigeria at the Hultz Global Final in France among others.
