Bowen University, Iwo, has given candidates the opportunity to sit for their online Computer-Based Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Test at home or anywhere, based on the institution’s timetable.
The result of the CBT UTME test will be released immediately after the test.
This is outlined in the institution’s Post UTME screening eligibility and registration procedure for 2024/2025, which invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission.
To be eligible, applicants must have sat for the 2024 UTME and have credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, or approved equivalents.
They must have credits in at least five subjects, including English and four other subjects specified by each faculty.
The five credits must be obtained at not more than two sittings, except for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Physiotherapy programmes, which require the five credits, including Mathematics and English, at not more than one sitting.
NABTEB is not acceptable for these programmes. Candidates awaiting results may apply, and all applicants must go through the BOWEN University screening exercise.
Interested candidates who have applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their university choice must apply for a change of institution through JAMB and complete the BOWEN University screening exercise.
The registration procedure also includes directions for Direct Entry candidates who are also required to apply through JAMB.
