NABTEB means National Business and Technical Examination Board. It is a Nigerian examination Board which conducts examinations for technical and business innovation colleges in the country.
It was established under decree No. 70, now Act 79 of the 1993 Constitution by the regime of the Retired General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
There is NABTEB A’Level, which is designed to prepare candidates through nine months of intensive training after which they sit for the examination.
Exam Date
NABTEB exams are conducted twice a year in May/June and November/December respectively.
Responsibilities
NABTEB conducts National Technical Certificate (NTC); Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC); National Business Certificate (ANBC); and Modular Trade Certificate (MTC).
It takes over the responsibilities of the Royal Society of Arts in London (RSA), the City and Guilds of London, and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

NABTEB offers the following courses: Advanced Mathematics, Advanced Computer Craft, Advanced Economics, Advanced Accounting, Advanced Business Management, Advanced English, Advanced Biology, and Advanced Chemistry.
