The Time Higher Education (THE) has ranked Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, as the 18th best university out of 272 public universities in Nigeria in the 2024 World University Ranking.
This represents a significant improvement from its 2021 ranking of 66 in Nigeria. Following the 2021 ranking, the university’s management devised a strategy to break into the top 30 by 2024.

The ranking evaluated elite universities from 152 countries and regions, considering factors such as dedication to Sustainable Development Goals, world-class education, innovative culture, and talented graduates making a positive global impact.
Recently, Caleb University was also recognized as the Best Private University in Nigeria in 2024.
Vice Chancellor Professor Nosa Owens-Ibie expressed pride in the achievement, stating, “Our rapid succession of national and international recognition is a testament to our excellence. The future indeed belongs to Caleb University.”
