Davido Tongue lashed over the Request for a Car Charger

One of Nigeria’s leading musician, Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido, has been tongue-lashed by various commentators on Gistreel as he requested, publicly, an electric car charger for his newly imported vehicle. Davido had, months ago, taken the delivery of his 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre, needing an electric car charger urgently, which he disclosed on his X handle.

However, some social media users, expressing their opinions stated that the singer didn’t need to publicly request this on a social media page.

One commentator who called himself Ghvst Programmer expressed that when Timaya bought his Tesla Cuber Truck he did not shout about it, neither did he make it public.

Jamie Olat asked the Grammy Award nominee if X would have to get a car charger for him, expecting that the singer should be able to get one for himself.

Adegotyou also asked why Davido opted for an electric car in Nigeria, as Sarki advised him to order one for himself, that it was not everything he needed to tweet about.

Davido’s 2024 Roll Royce Spectre worth $500,000 was brought to Nigeria months after confirming the rumour of purchasing the car in an interview with Kai Cenat.

It could be recalled that the Afrobeats sensation had just described his brand of music as Afrofusion, making a switch over from Afrobeats.
