
A graduate of Chrisland High School VGC (CHSVGC), Stephan Mbala, has won multiple scholarship awards, all in the universities in the United States of America.
Mbala, an outstanding student, was the Deputy Head Boy in school; applied to six US universities and was admitted to all, but secured five Scholarships in the process.
He obtained a competitive scholarship covering in-state tuition from New Mexico State University, valued at $18,300; an international tuition cost reduction and a $100 stipend each semester.
He also earned a $7,000 merit-based Presidential Scholarship and an Akron Advantage Award Scholarship from the University of Akron, totalling $27,964.
Mbala also received a $17,000 merit-based scholarship from McMurry University and a $6000 merit-based scholarship from West Virginia University.
