The Nigerian singer, Innocent Ujah Idibia aka 2face Idibia, is fired up by keen competition igniting the Afrobeats genre of Nigerian music.
In a manner that showed he is impressed by the competition, the music legend expressed on his X handle, ” Rema, Asake and Seyi Vibes have turned me into an upcoming artist, oh!”

2Baba, as he is fondly called, is regarded as one of Africa’s greatest musicians of all times endowed with an excellent voice, deep and meaningful lyrics and appealing rhythm.
He is one of those reputed to have contributed to the rise of pop music in Nigeria in the 2000s.
Before 2014, he began to use 2face Idibia as his stage name.
Known to have started his music career with Plantashun Boyz, which comprised him, Blackface and Faze, 2Baba was the first winner of MTV EMA Best African Act Category in 2005, and one of the most awarded Nigerian musicians in history.
