Davido Scores Music Hat Trick on Spotify Chart

The Afrobeat superstar, David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido has scored music hat trick on Spotify Chart as he emerged the most streamed Afrobeat artist in the world in 2023.

Davido announced this on his X handle, as the Spotify second chart puts his ‘Unavailable’ album as the most streamed song globally in 2023.

His album, ‘Timeless’ became the most streamed Afrobeat album worldwide in 2023, making it the third chart he will lead other Afrobeat singers.

In all the charts, Davido was ahead Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, Ayra Starr, Asake, Olamide, Libianca, Adekunle Gold and the late Mohbad.

The performances in all the Spotify charts generated congratulatory messages from the singer’s fans as they responded on his X handle, rejoicing with him, wishing him success and acknowledging his hard work.

However, others, commented that the performances should not warrant such a celebration.

Davido, who had been enmeshed in long acrimony with his fellow Afrobeat singer, Whizkid, just ended the rift as he was seen frolicking with him of recent.

In another development, Davido had expressed anticipation for Wizkid’s new album to be released December 22, 2023 and promoting it on his social media page.
