Failure of Intelligence Assessment Examinations introduced by Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI) Enugu for final year students will lead to a reduction of students’ Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
This was made known by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Rev. Fr. Christian Anieke in a statement signed by the university Acting Public Relations Officer, Godwin Umen.
Anieke admonished the students to study hard, saying the examination would be based on quantitative, qualitative and simple logic, and as well be computer-based.
He added that there would be no room for examination malpractices as the assessment would closely be monitored.
The university introduced the Intelligence Assessment Examination for all final year students of the institution to prepare them for jobs, scholarships and other competitive interviews.
Away from this, the institution has commenced plagiarism test for all final year students of 2023/2024 session including post graduate students to check project copying from other works.
According to the statement, any student found plagiarising would have his/her project cancelled as well as be made to repeat the work and pay another fees.
