A Federal University Oye Ekiti, Hanzesa Wilfred, is embarking on 150 hours of continuous ironing to set a new Guinness World Record (GWR).
This is contained in a release by the Students Union Government of the University.
Last year, a 23-year-old student of the University, Damilola Adeparusi aka Chef Dammy, completed her 120-hour cook-a-thon, though not known to GWR.
However, her context wasn’t recognized because she failed to apply formerly to GWR for recognition and monitoring.
Meanwhile, Baci was dethroned by Alan Fisher, an Irish chef who owns a restaurant in Japan.
He claimed the longest cooking marathon after clocking in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes, more than 24 hours longer than Baci.
