Gospel Singer Loses Equipment to Fire

Music equipment worth millions of Naira were destroyed by fire in the music studio of the gospel artist Chinyere Udoma.

Udoma disclosed this on her Instagram page, lamenting that she learnt of the fire on her way to the airport.

The singer, who came to the studio to find the entire property reduced to ashes, expressed that she had intimated the landlord of a faulty wire connection, but he felt unconcerned, and no action was taken on the matter.

Udoma sobbed, “It was a tough Tuesday for us…in just five minutes, everything we’ve worked so hard for worth hundreds of millions, was gone, consumed by flames.

“I am struggling to find the right words and don’t even know how to start explaining what happened.

“All I can say is that we’ve lost everything, but by some miracles, no one was hurt. We’re in a state of shock and we’re a bit slow to respond, please understand.

“This a huge setback for us but hasn’t defeated us.”

She summoned courage, saying they were determined to rebuild everything stronger with “our faith in each other and the future intact.”
