The Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended a warm invitation to the university community to attend its upcoming webinar, detailed as follows:
Event: Project Innovation to Market (I2M) Inaugural Press Conference
Date: Wednesday, March 27, 2024
Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Design Studio, beside the UNILAG-BOI Building, Faculty of Social Sciences, UNILAG.
During this press conference, the ITMO will present the achievements of Project I2M after its first year of operation. The ITMO began actively engaging in grant application activities in 2022 to support the University’s vision for innovation and technology transfer.

If you ask me why students of the University of Ilorin are happy at the moment, I will say I don’t know. But feelers have it that, one of their own, Kunle Akogun has been nominated for the National Spokesperson of the Year Award.
Who is Kunle Akogun? Akogun is the director of public affairs University of Ilorin.
The consistent and effective deployment of relevant strategic communication tools in the public image management of the University of Ilorin by Akogun has earned him a nomination for the prestigious award.
The award, which is organized by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) in partnership with the Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), the publishers of PRNigeria and Spokespersons’ Digest, is reserved for outstanding public relations professionals in Nigeria.
Akogun is among the 62 finalists shortlisted from 224 entries for 21 award categories.

Kudos to ACU Law Student
For their outstanding performance, it has taken a judge in Ondo State High Court and former Dean of the Faculty of Law, Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Justice Professor Alero Akeredolu, to shower praises on ACU law students for their remarkable performance at the final Bar examination.
The success was ascribed to the good work of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Timothy Adebayo.
Justice Professor Akeredolu said he was impressed that they had a first class, which was a credit to the students, staff, and the conducive atmosphere provided by the school management in keeping up the standard.
