UI Academic Calendar
The University of Ibadan, Oyo State has released its academic calendar for both new and old students. For new students, registration commences on Monday, April 1, 2024, while the virtual orientation Programme is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3 to Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Six weeks of virtual lectures begin from Monday, April 8 to Friday, May 17, 2024, while the virtual matriculation ceremony comes up on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Examinations for capabilities of Education, Pharmacy, Medicine, Technology, Law, Agriculture, Renewable Natural Resources, Clinical Sciences, Dentistry, Basic Medical Sciences, Public Health, and Environmental Design and Management come up on Monday, September 9, 2024, to Friday, September 20, 2024.
The two-week examinations in the faculties of Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics & Management Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine begin on Monday, September 23 to Friday, October 4, 2024.

MATH-A-THON

A student of Industrial Mathematics at the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, Akute, Ondo State, Samuel Oluwapelumi has completed 84 hours (4 days) of MATH-A-THON.
Samuel spent a total of 84 hours beginning from Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the T. I Francis Auditorium, FUTA to teach mathematics tutorial day and night with short breaks in between. Samuel taught several topics and got massive support from his fellow students from the University.

Good news for Nigerians…
If you know that you are suffering from kidney-related diseases or you know somebody suffering from it, there is good news for you.

The good news is that the University of Jos, Plateau State is planning to treat Nigerians with such diseases for free. Don’t ask when it will start.
