In what may look like a blessing to some students, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the 2024 Direct Entry registration by two weeks, from Wednesday, 28th March 2024, to Thursday, 11th April 2024.
This decision was made to allow candidates sufficient time to register due to challenges faced during the registration process, particularly regarding security screening measures to combat fake A-level certificates.
JAMB apologizes for any inconveniences caused and assures candidates of a more user-friendly process in the future. Candidates with certificates from institutions that have not verified their certificates will not be allowed to register without verification. JAMB will hold a press conference to provide more information to the media.
