
LASU Set For 27th Convocation Ceremony
The students and the entire Lagos State University community are getting ready for the 27th Convocation ceremony. As part of their preparations, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has informed all graduands, Parent/Guardians, University Community and the General Public of the programme of events for the 27th Convocation Ceremony.
The convocation will begin on Thursday, 30th May โ Thursday, 6th June 2024 with many events running through the period of the convocation.

Another Case of Bullying
In a disturbing video making rounds on social media, a female undergraduate from Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology, located in Ikere, Ekiti State, is seen brutally assaulting a fellow student with a stick.
Despite the victim’s pleas for mercy, the aggressor is heard uttering menacing words, “Let me draw blood from you easily or hardly.”
The incident, captured on Sunday, quickly gained traction on social media platforms. According to the individual who filmed the altercation, the incident took place on the campus of BOUESTI.

UNIBEN Suspends Students’ Union Govt
The University of Benin has made a significant decision in response to a troubling incident involving the assault of Olumide Akpata, the Edo State Labour Party’s candidate. Effective immediately, the university’s Student Union Government has been placed under indefinite suspension. Ademola Bobola, the Registrar, announced the decision on Monday, linking the suspension to the attack on Akpata by students suspeโ cted to be affiliated with the student union.
