UNILAG to Host Career Discussion on May 8
The Office of Career Development Services (OCDS) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is organizing the 8th edition of Career Conversation (Career Conversations 8.0) on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Makerspace within the UNILAG Main Library.
Themed ‘Exploring Your Career Aspirations,’ this edition of Career Conversation aims to facilitate connections with industry professionals and offer valuable insights and resources for navigating diverse career trajectories.”
Olayemi Wins Pressman of the Year Award
Olayemi Precious won the Pressman of the Year Award at the awards dinner to recognise those who have served the university community as a campus journalist today.
Olayemi is a student of the Faculty of Science, University of Ibadan and she served the faculty as a pressman for 5 years, a session as the Features Editor, and 10 months as the Editor-in-Chief.
Kudos to you Olayemi.
Owambe Fiesta at Awo Hall, UI
Obafemi Awolowo Hall, University of Ibadan recently organized an Owambe Fiesta where students dressed in their best ankara, gele, and jewelry to show UI the energy of Awo. The Owambe took place on April 26, 2024, at Awo Quadrangle by 4 pm.

Many students attended the Owambe event and it was a combination of everything needed to thrill and chill. It was also a potpourri of activities like dancing, fashion shows with beautiful attires.
