
Medical Student Allegedly Beaten to Death at UNIJOS
Abdulsalam Idris, a 300-level medical student at the University of Jos (UNIJOS), passed away recently at the institution’s clinic. He reportedly sustained severe injuries following an assault by a group allegedly led by a fellow student, Fisal Dahiru Ibrahim.

The security unit at UNIJOS has confirmed the death, stating that the body has been transferred to the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) for autopsy.
According to Agama Solomon, the acting Chief Security Officer of UNIJOS, the suspect claimed to have given Abdulsalam N30,000 to bribe a technician for exam grades.
However, when the results were released and the suspect failed, he allegedly orchestrated an attack that led to Abdulsalam’s death.
Heroic Welcome for Pelumi Nubi at UNILAG
University of Lagos was agog in celebration as it welcomed Globetrotter and Travel Content Creator, Pelumi Nubi, who recently concluded her solo drive from London to Lagos.

In wild excitement of jubilation the entire UNILAG stood still for several hours to honour her in recognition of her outstanding performance when she arrived at the institution on Sunday, April 7, the terminal point of her journey.
The journey, which took her 68 days, saw her arrive in the warm embrace of UNILAG community where Nubi was treated to a carnival-like performance by students of the Creative Arts Department, the University of Lagos International School (ISL), and other admirers.
LASU Organises One-Day Workshop for Staff
The Department of Science and Technology Education at Lagos State University’s Faculty of Education has organized a one-day training workshop.

This workshop aims to empower both academic and non-academic staff of the Faculty for the upcoming 2024 promotion exercise.
