Nollywood Loses Producer

Nollywood family is thrown into mourning again, losing a producer and marketer, Chief Andy Ikechukwu Best aka Andy Best, to grim death. The news of his death was broken by the convener of the Best of Nollywood Awards, Mr Seun Oloketuyi, who wrote on his Instagram page that Best had died.

The report indicated that he died at a private hospital in Owerri, Imo State, and his remains have been deposited at Aladinma Mortuary, in Owerri.

As at the time, the news of his demise was broken, Best was said to have died of an unknown ailment.

He hailed from Umunkwo village, Isiala Mbiano Local Government Area of Imo State.

The late producer, who held the Chieftaincy title of Akudinanwa, was the Chief Executive Officer of Andy Best Electronic Limited and Andy Best Production.

Some of the movies that came from Andy Best Production are: ‘The Lion of Africa,’ ‘White Poison,’ and ‘My Father’s Cup.’
